"I LOVE YOU" Throw Quilt

Beautiful vibrant hand pieced vintage quilt. Crafted by an unknown artist this quilt is one of a kind.

I added an "I LOVE YOU" message on the front with an applique technique to highlight the love that is stitched through its seems. 

This quilt would be a gorgeous baby quilt as red white and black are some of the first colors babies can see clearly. It likely started its life out that way, pieced with love for a eagerly awaited little one. It would also be the perfect blanket to throw across your lap and cuddle up with.

I rescued this quilt from a last-chance thrift store where its next move was a compression dumpster out in the back. It is a beautiful quilt that was made to keep others warm and now it will get the chance to again.
