Mended Vintage Patchwork Quilt - Queen

Big beautiful, cozy and soft this pink, cream, and blue patchwork quilt is a stunner.

I have added 34 different patches to mend the holes and stains that dotted the quilt. This quilt was loved and covered in signs of use. The stains looked like coffee and bits of paint. I imagine they were from early mornings or late evenings cuddled up with a steaming mug and a paintbrush. 

I found this quilt at a last-chance thrift store where it was bound for a compression dumpster outback. It is one of a kind and bore so many signs of love. The stains and holes worn from use are probably why it ended up cast-off. With those mended, this quilt is ready for many more years of chilly nights and warm cuddles.
